Online: One Walsall Voluntary Sector Assembly18/09/2025

One Walsall is hosting its first “Assembly” event for its members - an opportunity to meet other people working in the voluntary, community, faith, and social enterprise sector to reflect on the current issues affecting your organisation and people you work with.  There is so much going on across the Borough that it’s a great forum to share your work with others.

 

We know from our State of the Sector survey 2024, which was completed by 38% of our members that the landscape is challenging, but also hugely rewarding.  Demand for services is morphing and changing and the sector is often the first to pick this intelligence up and act on it. We know as do partners that the sector is a huge asset, working tirelessly and often with people who are most vulnerable, needing help. 

 

The Assembly provides the space to discuss how you are navigating an often, unpredictable system, reflect on how things are changing and to meet other like-minded people in a sector which is both inclusive and purposeful.

 

We know how precious your time is so we have a couple of options for members to consider in joining us at the Assembly.

 

There are two options to attend:

In person: Wednesday 17 September, 1pm - 3pm at The Community Room, The Table, 33 Lower Hall Lane, Walsall, WS1 1RR
