An organisation should plan for the execution of specific activities and set its strategic direction across the short, medium, and long term.
The session provided valuable insights into the Walsall area, its population, and the local community. At the outset we shared the following objectives:
- To demonstrate an awareness of the local priorities across the borough and what they aim to achieve.
- To compare and contrast your own aims and objectives, with wider strategic priorities to explain how they are helping to meet them.
- To understand the value of data monitoring and measuring and how it can help support wider strategic priorities being achieved.
- Being aware of what online resources and databases exist that can help you to understand Walsall data.

Case Study Writing Training Delivered by the Impact Team
On 3rd July, One Walsall’s Impact Team delivered a training session on How to Write a Great Case Study at the Digital Skills Hub. The session emphasised the importance of well-crafted case studies in demonstrating the impact of services and showcasing the real difference being made within the community.
Designed to be interactive and informative, the training included group discussions and opportunities for participants to exchange ideas. Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with 94% reporting an improved understanding of effective case study writing by the end of the session.
For those who attended, please remember to submit your completed case studies to impact@onewalsall.org.
For those who were unable to attend, we are planning to deliver this session again in the near future. Further details will be shared in due course.
