Various PositionsCitizens Advice offer free, impartial and independent advice on a range of topics including benefits, debt, housing, employment, family and personal, consumer and immigration. Citizens Advice are currently recruiting for a range of volunteer positions as follows:

1) Information Assistant - Talk to clients face to face and help them find the information online that can help them solve their problems, help clients carry out an activity online that can help them solve their problem, help clients complete paper or online forms themselves and write a summary of the problem and the action taken.
2) Adviser - As above but more in depth with undertaking own research and tailoring the information to the client’s circumstances, making applications on behalf of clients, completing benefit checks, referral to other agencies and specialists
3) Admin - Reception duties and also general office administration, photocopying, keeping information up-to-date
4) Research & Campaigns Volunteer - Identifying common problems or trends, writing reports, help in organizing campaigns and other activities to highlight these
5) Media Volunteer - Assist in creating leaflets, posters and social media, contribute to posts and other media

Full training is provided, but you must be approachable, non-judgemental, and have good IT skills, ideally some experience with Google Workspace
