Repairer

As many of you will know, Urban Hax has made a commitment to improving the environment through a number of direct actions. The first, Walsall Tool Shack, has been running for several months via which we make tools available to local residents for home improvement purposes. Our longer-term aim is to set up a community scrapstore to encourage recycling/upcycling and to reduce waste going to landfill but ahead of that we’re going to set up a Repair Café. Through this scheme we will recruit a number of volunteer ‘fixers’ to repair a wide range of goods and thus extend their life.

However, for the Repair Café to fly we need YOU! The scheme will be part-funded through a crowdfunding campaign and any funding raised will attract significant additional funding through Walsall Council.
