Volunteer Repairer

Urban Hax aims to set up a Repair Café in a local Walsall venue and are now looking for Volunteer Repairers with repair skills such as Electronics, Woodworking, Metalworking, Textiles and/or Sewing.

The role is flexible, no DBS required, and Volunteer Travel Expenses will be reimbursed.

The aim will be to support local residents with mending their goods, appliances and other loved items and also to reduce the need to buy new and avoid sending stuff to landfill!

Skills needed for this role:

Good communication, listening skills, patient, organised, repair skills.
