Kitchen Volunteer
Role details and requirements
- To plan, prepare, cook and serve meals for the Service Users of the Glebe.
- To maintain strict levels of hygiene in all areas of the kitchen in line with Food Hygiene/Environmental Health standards and requirements.
- To take responsibility of kitchen stock and support with the processing of donations relevant to the provision of food.
- To support in the planning of menus that utilise the resources available.
- To support in the delivery of Cook and Eat skills sessions for and with Service Users.
- Previous experience undertaking a cooking role.
- Minimum of L2 Food Safety and Hygiene trained.
- Understanding of Allergens and other Food Intolerances.
