Opportunities
Keeping all areas of the Centre, including all toilets, clean and tidy. This includes washing, dusting, polishing, vacuum cleaning, sweeping and mopping, as appropriate.
Ability to work within Health and Safety and COSHH regulations.
Organisation
The Glebe Centre is a multifunctional hub funded to work specifically with people from Walsall who are over 18 years and who are rough sleepers, homeless, insecurely housed, drug users and/or alcohol users to provide support services and access to practical facilities.
DBS is required and will be paid for by the organisation, Glebe Centre are unable to reimburse any expenses. However, volunteers are able to have a free lunch at the Centre on the days they volunteer with us provided their volunteering hours cover our lunch period.
Our opening days are Mon-Fri (no weekend volunteering opportunities). Volunteering hours are between 9am-4pm.
