Finance Officer

As a Volunteer Finance Officer, you will play a key role in managing and supporting the organisation’s finances. 

This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a supportive friendly environment while contributing to the work of the organisation. Managing Day-to-Day Finances
- Processing invoices, paying bills, tracking income, and keeping financial records up to date.
- Budgeting and Monitoring Spending
- Creating budgets and tracking organisational spending to ensure effective use of resources.
- Financial Reporting
- Preparing financial reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly) to show performance, including income, expenditure, and cash flow.
- Ensuring Compliance
- Ensuring the organisation follows financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal policies.
- Supporting Decision-Making
- Analysing financial data and providing insight to support planning and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Payroll and Accounts Support
- Assisting with payroll processing, managing expenses, and supporting audit preparation where required.
