Role details and requirements
About the role
The role will involve working on-site in schools and community centres with children, young adults and wider community to facilitate structured play/tech sessions using age-appropriate games and technology, including but not limited to PlayStations, Virtual Reality Headsets, Robots, 3D pens, 3D printers.
Training can/will be provided .
Skills required:
- Applicants should be suitable for working with children (DBS checks will be necessary and a clean record is a must). We can organise the DBS checks for the right candidates, should they not have a current one.
- Able to relate well to children and adults.
- Good literacy/numeracy skills.
- Confident communication and interpersonal skills, with high energy and a confident approach
- Able to use own initiative.
- Able to work constructively as part of a small team.
- Patience, tact and diplomacy.
- Experience addressing groups.
- Creative and used to working with children.
