Advocacy Matters

Advocacy Matters

Advocacy Matters is a charity which has provided independent advocacy support in Birmingham and Walsall since 2002.  We provide Independent Advocacy support to over 1000 adults at risk or whom require a service in Birmingham and Walsall every year.

Advocacy Matters provides both statutory and community-based advocacy projects. Advocates are independent of the Local Authority, NHS and other services. Advocacy from Advocacy Matters is free at the point of access for people who need to use our service.

They empower their advocacy partners, ensuring that they have a say in their lives and about the issues that matter to them.  Advocacy supports inclusion and social justice and aim to provide adults at risk with an independent advocate to ensure individuals are heard & their rights, concerns & needs are acted upon.
