Organisation
Autism is a lifelong developmental difference. It can bring with it challenges, but also strengths. There are around 700,000 autistic adults and children in the UK. 60,000 of these live in the West Midlands.
We are the leading charity in the West Midlands for Autistic adults, children, young people and those who love and care for them. Our passionate, expert staff and volunteers work across a range of age groups and abilities.
We support autistic people to lead as independent lives as possible in residential care or in their own or family home.
We provide a free autism information helpline offering a first point of contact for autistic people, parents, carers and professionals.
We provide advice and support sessions for families and carers of autistic children.
Our community-based services enable adults to access support within their localcommunities. We help to build people’s resilience, skills and confidence to enable them to lead happier and more fulfilling lives.
We offer training around autism to parents, professionals and businesses in The West Midlands.
