Squirrel/Beaver/Cub/Scout Team Member

Would you like to be part of a team who hikes, climbs, enjoys the great outdoors, whilst also learning new

skills and passing on those you already have to the next generation?

As a Section Team Member, you will have the opportunity to do all this by supporting the Section Team

Leader to plan and deliver a safe programme for young people, whilst running games and activities as part

of weekly meetings.

You can choose to support children from ages 4 up to 18, so there is an age range for every skill set.

A sense of humour, empathy with young people and enthusiasm are the main ingredients - you can learn

the rest as you go along.

You will be supported along the way to ensure you have the training and the skills you need to succeed.

The Scout Association

Scouts are do-ers and give-it-a-go-ers. Yes, we go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling and canoeing.

But, we also get to hang out with our friends every week – having fun, playing games, working in a team and taking on new challenges.

Every week we give almost half a million 4-25 year olds the skills they need for school, college, university, the job interview, the important speech, the tricky challenge and the big dreams: the skills they need for life.

Everyone’s welcome here. All genders, races and backgrounds. Regardless of your young person’s physical ability – there’s a Scout adventure out there waiting for them. And we’ll help them find it.
