Volunteer Lady Befriender (Gujurati language required)(18+) (Walsall)

To offer regular telephone or face to face befriending to a elderly lady, living alone, whose first language is Gujurati, lasting between 30-60 minutes each week. The Volunteer will need to be able to Speak Gujurati and be friendly.

The lady would prefer afternoon calls and visits if possible any day of the week and would like a female befriender.

Visits would take place at her home address, which will be risk assessed by our Project Coordinator and telephone calls would take place from home.

A DBS will be required for this role, the Charity will pay for this to be done.

Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.
