Driving -Shopping Buses

Volunteers are needed to assist in the delivery of our Door to Door Shopping Services.

These routes run every weekday from 10.30am onwards in the Bloxwich, Aldridge & Pheasey areas of the Borough.  The work would involve driving a minibus, collecting our older residents from their homes and taking them to their local supermarket where they would have approximately 1hour to complete their shopping before returning them to their homes.

All shopping services have the support of a second person on the vehicle to assist in carrying shopping and helping passengers on and off the vehicle.

Established in 1993, Community Transport is a registered charity providing a broad range of transport services,  whether that is group travel for other voluntary and community groups, dial-a-ride minibuses for people with disabilities or other mobility problems, or community bus routes that would not otherwise exist because they are not commercially viable.
