We have been supporting the voluntary and community sector (VCS) in Walsall for over 30 years. Following a recent redevelopment programme, we are now moving forward with an exciting new delivery model and suite of services.
Our mission is clear – to inspire and support social action in Walsall. We work with individuals seeking to make a positive impact in their community, and existing and emerging community groups, charities and social enterprises delivering not for profit services to residents, including those facing specific challenges or disadvantage.
We are seeking an individual who’s motivated by helping others do good, who can inspire and motivate others, and has the knowledge and skills to develop our brand, promote our offer and the impact we have for community organisations and public sector partners.
The successful candidates will have experience of website development (WordPress platform) and a range of other digital/traditional communications tools to promote our work and build engagement. A positive and creative outlook is essential and experience of working with the VCS is desirable.
The role is fixed term until September 2019 with the potential to extend based on performance and future funding arrangements.
