Who we are looking for
Ideally you will live in Walsall, so you will have a good grasp of the area and the health and social care issues within it.
You will have a keen interest in ensuring that services are designed around the needs of people so that the residents of Walsall get the right care and services when they need it.
You may be someone who accesses local services, a carer or an ex-health/social care professional who now wishes to contribute to shaping health and social care in Walsall.
As a user of services, or a carer of someone who does or even as a former staff member you may have questioned why services are delivered a certain way.
What we are looking for in a Chair
The Chair of Walsall Together Service User Group will be required to commit to approximately 3 days per month, have the ability to provide strong leadership to the Walsall Together Service User Group to ensure that the patients and service users voices are heard and able to influence the progressive changes under the Walsall Together programme at all levels.
The Chair will receive £2,500 per annum and the work pattern will be flexible to meet the needs of the Service User Group.
