All organisations operate through a group of people who meet regularly to make the long-term, important decisions about the organisation including; what it is going to do, how it is going to do it etc.
Though they do the same job there are different terms for this group of people depending on the legal structure that the organisation has adopted.
- Management committee members – for unincorporated, small organisations.
- Trustees - for registered
- Directors – for companies limited by guarantee or community interest companies.
