The Look, Say, Sing, Play campaign aims to help parents have higher quality interactions with their baby, up to the age of two years, by giving them tips on incorporating ‘look, say, sing, play’ into their daily routine. We want to help new parents build a stronger bond by giving them the tools and the confidence to do it well. Creating stronger bonds is preventive and helps reduce the risk of difficulties and poorer outcomes for children later on.

We are now holding a Parent Facing Look Say Sing Play Launch on 2nd October, 11am to 2pm at New Art Gallery Walsall, Gallery Square, Walsall Town Centre. The event is being ran by a partnership of services – NSPCC, Health, Early Years and Early Help. Parents attending the event will experience the Look, Say Sing Play through activities, music and craft. Parents will also be given information to take away with them about Look Say Sing Play and related services in Walsall , refreshments, snacks and balloons are also on offer.
A number of stall holders will also be present on the day (Libraries, Speech and Language , Health in Pregnancy Team, School Ready Team, Early Help Locality Hub).
