The Edgar E Lawley Foundation is a grant giving charitable Foundation with a preference to award unrestricted grants to smaller charities and not for profit organisations within the West Midlands.
The funding is intended to support small charities that engage in community projects and run projects for the benefit of disadvantaged groups. In particular, the Foundation would like to fund projects relating to medicine, to necessitous elderly persons, and to educational purposes with reference to the arts, commerce and industry.
Grants are available for smaller charities in the West Midlands for projects that benefit the old, young and disabled.
Approximately £240,000 is available per annum and the Foundation offers grants in the region of £1,500.
UK registered charities are eligible to apply.
Priority will be given to smaller charities operating in the West Midlands.
The Foundation’s grants are normally wholly unrestricted to allow grantees maximum flexibility.
In particular, the programme wishes to support initiatives with the following themes:
- Children and Young People.
- Medical, Research and other Miscellaneous Projects.
The Foundation will not consider applications for grants from or on behalf of private individuals.
Applications should be submitted by 31 October 2019.
