The Early Help service aims to provide key training to support multi agency professionals in their everyday work with families, including those families in need of Early Help services. The training offer is regularly under review through our locality working panels and meetings and we welcome your comments and feedback.
The Child’s Voice at the centre of assessments and plans – Outcome Star training
Who is the training for?
The training is for professionals who are or will be leading on an Early Help Assessment and Plans for children and young people, and for professionals supporting children, young people and parents/carers.
What is the time commitment?
One full day session.
What will I learn?
The training will provide you with the knowledge and skills to use the Outcome Star tool as to gain the voice of children, young people and/ or their parents. This is especially relevant as part of the Early Help Assessment and Plan.
Once trained in the use of Outcome Star, lead professionals are given the licence to use this tool in other aspects of their day-to-day working.

There is no charge for Voluntary sectors for those working with children and young people within Walsall.
Charges would only apply for non-attendance.
