Grants are available to UK registered charities for projects that promote and enhance physical and mental welfare, including for hospice appeals and homeless appeals.
The Albert Hunt Trust is a grant giving charity that provides grants to UK registered charities that are based and working in the UK. Although most grants are for between £1,000 and £5,000, grants for higher amounts, for example £10,000 or £25,000, are also awarded.
The funding is for charitable work in the following areas:
- Hospice appeals
- Homeless appeals
- Health and well being appeals
Match funding is not a specified requirement.
Who can apply
Charitable organisations in the UK are eligible to apply.
How to apply
The Trust does not maintain a website nor does it have a formal application form.
Charitable organisations are asked to submit appeals to the Trustees by letter containing the following:
- Aims and objectives of the charity.
- Nature of the appeal.
- Total target if for a specific project.
- Contributions received against target.
- Registered charity number.
- Any other relevant factors.
Applications can be submitted at any time and will be considered on a ‘regular’ basis.
